Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Mufal (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Mufal, Inc.

Mufal is a desktop application that provides real-time meeting transcription, AI-powered coaching, and meeting notes. It operates locally on your device and optionally syncs data to our cloud infrastructure under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Mufal. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Mufal on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to record conversations without the consent of all parties, where required by law
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Mufal and its content — including software, design, and trademarks — are owned by Mufal, Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.

You retain full ownership of your meeting transcripts and notes. By syncing them to our cloud, you grant Mufal a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. Transcription and AI outputs should be reviewed before reliance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mufal, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may terminate your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
